HAPPY HAPPY 2ND BIRTHDAY TO ZOE!!!!!!!!

It's hard to beileve that our amazing two year old is the same little girl who struggled so much for the first several months of her life.  Today she is a full on eater, crawler, cruiser, talker, snuggler, giggler, kisser, avid book reader and camera mugger who loves to be alive and enjoys every little moment so much.  We are so grateful to have Zoe with us and so grateful for all the prayers and energy all our friends and family have contributed over the past few years.  This journey has been at times emotional, painful, scary, joyous, rewarding and we wouldn't change a moment of it.  I think it makes us love Zoe more more every day.  Life is almost normal these days and we are able to enjoy the little moments so much more completley.  Two years ago, who would have thought that watching Zoe stuff food in her mouth would be something Jason and I can't get enough of or who would have thought that I would look forward to making Zoe the same egg and cheese omlette EVERY morning.  Zoe still has a journey ahead of her, but for now we are loving life without vomit bottles, feeding tubes, and spit towels and loving that we can toss Zoe in the stroller and head to the beach on a whim or head out day camping with Nana and Bapa.  We have much to be grateful for and yet there are still many babies and toddlers who need lots of prayers.  As I type, a friend of mine is having a little girl with a CDH, please pray for the baby, her parents and her little sister to find the strength and courage they need for the journey ahead,  Also, there are several toddlers in Seattle who are starting rapid tube weaning programs right now, send them lots of happy thoughts, good eating vibes and support (and for their parents) on their road ahead and lots of happy wishes to become healthy, eager eaters!!
