Today was a totally perfectly mellow day.  Zoe and I just worked on feedings some more, some went well, others turned into a sleep-a-thon for her.  But at least it was all quality snuggling.  My mom had to go back to Bainbridge today but it was lovely having her down here for a while and spending time with her- and she of course, loved every moment with Zoe.  Jason will be down tomorrow and can't wait to see how much she's changed.  She looks older every day.  Zoe is now up to 45 ml on her feedings every 3 hours and the plan is to leave her there for a day or so to give her stomach a chance to stretch since she threw up twice yesterday (on my mom both times).  Right now she is just lazing away in her crib, mesmerized by her mobile.  I can't remember if I mentioned the other day or not, but Zoe passed her hearing test in her right ear and was squirming around too much to check the left ear, so they will have to do that later.  This is a huge releief to us because one of the side effects of being on ECMO and getting antibiotics can be hearing loss.  It's one of those things we'll have to have rechecked at about 6 months, but for now all is good.
